The area where Valery is situated is probably one of the most fascinating of the whole city.
The Bed & Breakfast is located in Palazzo Montanaro (formerly Serra-Samengo) and is bound by the Superintendence for Architectural Heritage.
It lies just behind Via Garibaldi with its rich and majestic palaces where wealthy and influential families resided. Via Garibaldi now houses major museums (Red Palace and White Palace), art galleries and municipal offices.
We are located exactly between the viewpoint of Genoa and entrance to the typical narrow alleyways so characteristic of Genoa.
The main train station is a 15 minute walk, or 5 minutes by bus (the bus stop is 200 mt.) The subway is a 5 minute walk ( stops Darsena or San Giorgio).The Old Port area, the aquarium, the Carlo Felice Theatre and the ferries to Portofino can be reached easily on foot in 7-8 minutes.
Since July 13, 2006 is included, along with the whole system Rolli, among the UNESCO World Heritage Site.
We would like to convey the beauty of Genoa, seen through the eyes of those who know how to observe and appreciate.

Access to Guests
"Valery Guest House" offers finely furnished rooms, spacious and bright, both with magnificent views over the old town and the harbour. The house has a large hall for all our guests to enjoy from breakfast to the end of day, perhaps with a cup of tea and a good book. Free Wi Fi all around.
Breakfast
In the morning a table laid for breakfast awaits you in the middle of the large kitchen. You can find biscuits, fresh fruit, milk, coffee, yogurt with cereal, croissants, toast, jam and memorable typical focaccia. Upon request we will provide products for food intolerances.
Terrace
Guests have access to the large terrace. It is accessible even to relax under a pergola of vines and wisteria. The location, particularly opened on the gardens below, allows to spot parrots, gulls and other birds populating the typical roofs of Genoa all year round. - Our rooms in valéry Guest House
Communicating rooms - macaja
Traveling with the familyMacaja is a very comfortable suite consists of two connecting rooms and a private bathroom. Perfect for couples who want to stay for long periods or for families with children. Both rooms are spacious and have beautiful views of the old town and the sea.
These are the most isolated rooms of the house and therefore enjoy total soundproofing from the rest of the apartment.
In the antechamber a small refrigerator with freezer will enable our customers to keep local produce and fresh drinks.

The room is very spacious, about 20 square meters, decorated in a maritime theme and with a small sitting area. We are sure that you will be struck by the sight of the old town through the two windows. Private insuite bathroom with shower.
